McPeake Facility Services invites expressions of interest from qualified electrical and gas subcontractors to support our established in-house team in delivering rental safety checks across Melbourne.

With more than 30 years of experience in property maintenance and social housing, we welcome applications from sole traders and businesses offering one or more of the following services.

Services in scope

Safety work that supports Melbourne rentals.

We are seeking reliable subcontractors with qualified electrical and gas compliance capability.

Electrical safety checks
Gas safety checks and gas appliance servicing
Smoke alarm testing and authorised replacements
Approved repairs identified during safety checks

Previous experience working with Homes Victoria or other social housing providers is highly regarded.

What we are looking for

Professional, prepared and resident-focused.

Successful subcontractors will have the operational capability to complete compliant work and keep every stakeholder informed.

Credentials & capability

Current licences and registrations relevant to the services offered
An ABN and appropriate insurance coverage
Experience completing rental safety checks and compliance reporting
Your own vehicle, tools and suitable testing equipment

Reliable delivery

Reliable attendance and respectful communication with residents
Timely submission of reports, photographs and job updates through McPeake’s reporting system
